Peter van der Veldt
Formerly co-owner of Data Sciences one of the leading SI in the Netherlands. After the sale to IBM he was Director of Telecoms with IBM before he joint SITA where he was responsible for North Europe and later on setup the global professional services practice. Next to the air transport industry he is familiar with a wide range of industries including Telco, Manufacturing, Governmental Organisations, Defence and Retail. Peter is one of the founding partners of International Business Partners a global network of independent senior management and sales consultants. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Control engineering but his present day focus is on commercial operations in the IT and telecom industry (he started the largest LinkedIn group on Telecom Expense Management with now over 3500 members)
Graeme has had a distinguished career in aviation, first as an air-force pilot followed by experience as a commercial and management pilot with Cathay Pacific. Later he was Director of Air Hong Kong and latterly completed consultancy work with Air Astana. Graeme now runs his own full time consultancy business based in Oxford, England.
Ian is a highly experienced business manager with over 30 years international and local experience at Regional VP, Senior P&L and Sales Management level within the IT industry. Ian enjoyed a rewarding and fulfilling 20 year career with the ICL and Fujitsu group in a variety of Sales, General and Country Management roles in Africa, Eastern Europe, SE Asia and latterly as Southern Region Manager for Fujitsu Australia. Ian jointly founded Blackrock IT Solutions in 2001, a successful Melbourne based SME specialising in Application Support, SAP Security and Compliance solutions. After recently selling his equity in Blackrock, Ian has established SalesDimension, a consultancy company with a mission to help organisations achieve Sales Excellence.
When working for IATA, Michael was truly Mr Passenger being deeply involved in the all important details of changing the operating architecture for passenger airlines as the industry has evolved over the last 2 decades. Covering Passenger service standards, agency distribution, tariffs, interline relationships and slot management, Michael was at ground zero as the industry has adjusted and automated. More recently, in addition to assisting Travel Innovation Partners, Michael acts as an expert witness in important travel related jurisprudence cases and continues to consults for IATA He is based in Geneva, Switzerland
José Carlos Martinez Sabaté
Since graduating as a Telecomms Engineer, José Sabaté has always worked in IT in both Telecom and IT industries holding different technical and executive positions in the Aviation and Transportation industry. He was the CIO and Senior VP of one of the largest IT users in Latin America – VARIG Brazilian Airlines. Beside his responsibilities at VARIG, between 1992 and 1999, Jose was the company representative on the Board of Directors of SITA S.C. . In 1998, he was elected by the SITA Board to act as board member of EQUANT N.V., just before the highly successful IPO in 1999. In 2001, Jose joined Telemar, the largest Telecom Operator in Brazil to help the company to develop its strategy in the Corporate Market. In 2006, Jose was invited by IBM to work as a senior Business Development Executive focused on the Strategic Outsourcing (SO) business development for the Distribution and Industrial Sectors, including Retail, Travel & Transportation and Telecom industries. Jose is now working as an Independent Consultant focused on the Travel & Transportation industry with high priority to the Airport sector, because of the privatization process under development in South America. Jose speaks fluently Spanish, French and English.
Hugh has been at the forefront of innovation and change in the aviation and logistics industry for more than 25 years, as an executive and board member, for a number of international companies. Hugh has executive experience with Mercator, IBS, BAA and Cathay Pacific. He is currently focusing on his consultancy company, V3Airlogic based in Dubai which carries out strategic assignments in Europe and Australia.

Deep knowledge of travel distribution in Asia, with a strong understanding of doing business in China gained working with Cathay Pacific and later Abacus.
Ed has nearly 40 years of aviation experience in awide range of roles and locations. While at Cathay Pacific Airways he was General Manager Sales and Revenue Management, General Manager In-flight Services and CEO for the subsidiary companies of Asian Frequent Flyer Pte, Cathay Pacific Catering Services Group and Tenzing, the Seattle based company that pioneered email and phone connectivity onto aircraft. More recently he was the airline’s CIO and Head of Business Improvement and served as a director of SITA.Currently Ed is the Chief Executive of Coron Pacific Ltd, a Hong Kong based management consultancy specialising in corporate strategy, IT strategy and risk management.
